Unprepared Plate and Structural (P&S)

Unprepared P & S includes clean steel plates, structural shapes (such as I-beams, angle iron and channel iron), and steel semi-truck rims. Dimensions for unprepared P & S are as follows: at least 1/4 inch thick and any length or width Pipe that is less than 3/16 inches thick, or if the ends are crimped or closed, or if it is tubing, it is considered No.2 steel instead.

Prepared No. 1 includes wrought iron and steel scrap. Dimensions for Prepared No. 1 are as follows: At least 1/4 inch thick, smaller than 3 feet in length, and smaller then 18 inches in width.

Unprepared No. 1 includes wrought iron and steel scrap. It must be at least 1/4 inch thick, and may exceed 36 inches in length and 18 inches in width.

Prepared No. 2 includes wrought iron and steel scrap, black and galvanized. Dimensions for Prepared No. 2 are as follows:e at least 1/8 inch thick, smaller than 36 inches in length and smaller than 18 inches in width. This includes most material not suitable for Prepared No. 1 steel.
